Bridal accessories can be confusing. With wedding veils, length, name and measurements vary among different bridal shops. Still, there are some universal measurements you can refer to when contacting a bridal designer to get your veil. We are breaking down our veil lengths to help you navigate the intricacies of bridal accessories.
Birdcage veil
The smallest of them all. May come in different forms - on one comb at the top of your head, on two small combs on the sides, covering the face or not. The biggest thing they have in common is the small size - enough to cover the face or part of it. Our birdcage tulle veil is shaped as a square with rounded corners, measuring 35 cm (14").

Mini drop veil
A relatively recent trend of the 2026 bridal season. Our mini wedding veil with a blusher makes a perfect circle, covering your face with the same length on all sides - 30 cm (11.8"). The blusher part can be flipped back to make it a double layered veil.

Shoulder length veil
A classic choice for elopements, courthouse ceremonies and intimate weddings. This short bridal veil looks chic, modern and fun at the same time. It complements both long and short gowns and photographs well. It’s 45 cm (18") long and can be voluminous with gathering or sleek with a drop veil design.

Elbow wedding veil
One of the staples in the bridal styling industry. The elbow length veil has been popular for decades. It looks like a classic wedding veil yet doesn’t get in the way with its hem, gently ending at the elbow level. We make it at 70 cm (27'') which works for most heights and body types.

Fingertip wedding veil
Another classic bridal veil length, very popular with brides around the world. Its hem ends just below the hips, at your fingertips, hence the name of the veil. It works well with a variety of wedding gowns and its classic design is versatile for different hairstyles. It measures at 100 cm (39'').

Waltz wedding veil
Waltz length bridal veil is also called the Knee length veil. With 137 cm (54'') length, the veil flows gently from the top of your head ending at the knees, not getting in the way of movement and dancing.

Floor wedding veil
The first one to touch the floor but not featuring a train. A great option for those who want a longer veil but without it trailing behind. At 182 cm (72'') it works with different heights and heels but can be adjusted for taller brides.

Chapel wedding veil
One of the popular lengths is Chapel, measuring at 213 cm (84''). As a longer option, this veil covers small trains of wedding gowns and looks wonderful in the photos, giving your photographer more options to incorporate it into the shots.

Our most popular length is 100% the Cathedral bridal veil. With 274 cm (108'') of fabric, it is dramatic, regal and memorable. This veil works great in both indoor ceremonies (especially in churches) and outdoor garden weddings.

Longer veils
